The SIRUI VH-15 Professional video head features fluid-bearing joints for smooth panning and tilting. The pan resistance is preset to provide the smoothest possible results, and the tilt resistance has a stepless friction adjustment that helps balance the size of different video camera systems. The tilt friction adjustment allows the head to pivot forward and backward (+70/-90°) quickly at the lowest friction setting.

A spring-assisted 4 kg counterweight mechanism helps to keep the head in place once the camera is properly balanced on the head - the head remains in the set position without moving, providing additional support and improved tilt control. As you add resistance from the friction adjustment, the tilt stabilizes and control improves. To help level the head, there are two spirit levels, one at the bottom of the head for positioning the tripod, and one at the top of the video head to help align the camera.
