You can fine-tune and influence your recording with the built-in studio-quality APHEX emulation settings (Aural Exciter, Big Bottom, and Compellor master compressor) or simplify and make your work easier by using the VoxLab editor.

The recording is clean and you can forget about time-consuming audio post-processing and other difficult tricks. Rode's preamps help to clarify the sound already during the recording phase and you don't need an additional signal amplifier (mic lifter) with the new RodeCaster Duo.

The RodeCaster Duo can record directly to a microSD card or connect to a computer via USB. The device also supports streaming via a computer.

You can use four physical volume controls and three virtual controls like this: connect two microphones plus one USB C device plus one Bluetooth device and adjust their sound quality with the physical controls. Connect another USB C device for music plus effects from the device's Smart Pad, these you can adjust with the virtual controls. You have two headphone jacks. The RodeCaster Duo handles all of this with its own 1.5 GHz quad-core processor.

You can add pre-recorded material or include a visitor in the broadcast/recording using their phone. Calls are echo-free via either Bluetooth, TRRS or USB.

The touchscreen, programmable buttons and sliders make mixing easy. Each channel can be muted individually, so only the sounds you want are recorded
