This Mini Matte Box Lite differs from the Smallrig 3196 Matte Box in that the weight has been made even lighter and the price has been lowered. The construction is also slightly different, the box can be used with normal 4x4' or 4x5.65' plate filters.

Lightweight and compact Matte Box for video and landscape photography. The adjustable carbon fiber and matte-coated top cap, or flag, allows you to control reflections and the amount of backlight even in demanding conditions. The cap can be folded down to protect both filters and the lens surface.

It is possible to add a 10x14.3cm plate filter to the lens hood using the included holder. Two filter holders are included in the Matte Box, two at a time.

The filter holders have a silicone surface that holds the filter securely and securely. There is a handle on the side of the holder, so you don't get fingerprints on the plate filters.

The Smallrig 3575 lens hood comes with a 95mm clamp that you can use to attach the mini matte box directly to a lens of the appropriate size. The included 67, 72, 77 and 82mm adapter rings allow you to attach the lens hood to lenses of different sizes. The mattebox's own thread size is 95mm, which the adapter rings attach to.

Thanks to the smart mount, the matte box or filters do not vignette even with wide lenses.
