The Portkeys BM7 II DS is a 7-inch camera monitor designed for demanding professional use and heavy-duty video productions, serving as an uncompromising workhorse on set. Building on the global success of the popular BM5 series, this high-quality display brings a stunning 2,200 nits of maximum brightness, an exceptionally comprehensive range of SDI and HDMI connections with cross conversion, and extensive wireless and wired camera control functions. The all-aluminum body and tempered front glass ensure that the monitor can withstand the toughest knocks and bumps on film crews and location shoots, while still weighing just 460 grams.

The monitor features a built-in 2.4GHz WiFi antenna on the back that allows for wireless camera control for RED Komodo and V-RAPTOR cameras (RED Approved) and a range of Sony camera models. Sony users can take advantage of the touchscreen Focus Tracking autofocus grid. For Blackmagic Design cameras, the monitor offers Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and the widely supported wired control interfaces cover a range of Sony, Canon, Panasonic, RED and ZCAM E2 cameras, as well as the TILTA Nucleus N/M tracking focus motors.

• Flexible and uninterrupted power supply: The monitor features a smart dual battery plate on the back for Sony NP-F series batteries, allowing for hot-swap of batteries. For professional use, the monitor also features two lockable DC power inputs: an industry-standard 2-pin LEMO and a 5.5mm barrel connector (7.4–24 V).
• One-to-Many Multi-Camera Control: Supports Portkeys' innovative system, where a single "master" monitor can be used to wirelessly control the settings and focus of multiple compatible cameras from up to 50 meters away without cables.
