The Plustek OpticSlim 1180 is a large A3 format (297 x 431.8 mm) flatbed scanner designed for easy and fast digitization of large documents, newspapers and magazines, drawings and book covers. The device's modern LED light source enables scanning without warm-up delay, and it scans a full A3 sheet in just 8 seconds (300 dpi, color/grayscale/black and white).

With its compact and low-profile design, the OpticSlim 1180 takes up significantly less desk space than traditional A3 scanners. Four preset hotkeys (Scan, OCR, PDF, E-mail) automate frequently repeated tasks with a single press. The included TWAIN and ICA drivers ensure seamless compatibility with Windows and macOS operating systems and thousands of image-compatible software.
