Olympus FR-WR Flash Receiver

The Olympus FR-WR is a compact, highly weatherproof and durable radio receiver for Olympus flash units. Its control dials are generously sized and easily adjustable. You can connect one flash unit to it and trigger using the Olympus FC-WR transmitter or the FL-700 WR flash unit.

The Olympus FR-WR receiver has a sound indicator that tells you when the remote flash is charged and ready to fire again.

You can also connect other brands of flash units to the receiver and use them as triggers. However, automation and data transfer between devices are not possible.

The receiver also has a PC-sync connection, which also allows, for example, the triggering of a studio flash.

The Olympus FR-WR flash receiver is dust, splash and freeze resistant (?10°C) – just like the OM-D E-M1X, EM1 Mark II, E-M1, E-M5 Mark II and E-M5, E-M10Mark II and E-M10 Mark III cameras, as well as all M.ZUIKO PRO lenses.
