The Monach M5 is an updated version of the best-selling Monach 5 binoculars in the Monarch series. The updates include a slightly wider field of view and a cleaner design.
Monarch M5 differences from Monarch 5 binoculars
The Nikon Monarch M5 12x42 binoculars are designed for heavy use and difficult lighting conditions, such as outdoor activities. The binoculars offer very comfortable handling thanks to the rubber-coated body. The rubber coating helps protect the optics from bumps and provides a firmer grip even when the surface of the binoculars is slightly wet.
The rather large, roughened rubber-coated focus wheel fits comfortably under the index finger. To focus from the closest focusing distance to infinity, approximately 450 degrees, or 1 1/4 of a rotation of the focus wheel, is required.
Adjustable rubber eyecups and 15.1mm eye relief make it easy to find the right viewing point.
The Monarch M5 binoculars have a tripod thread that allows you to attach the binoculars to a tripod or stand. You only need a tripod adapter, such as the TRA-3 , which can be purchased separately.
