The Manfrotto MVK500AM set is a tripod package designed for videography, which includes the aluminum MVT502AM tripod, the MVH500A video head, and the MB502VTB tripod bag suitable for transporting them.

The sturdy aluminum MANFROTTO MVT500AM video tripod is equipped with a center spreader and feet for the demanding video enthusiast. The MVH500A video head is attached to the tripod with a 60mm hemisphere. The hemisphere compensates for small uneven terrain. The camera head's pan and tilt can be locked separately and both have separate liquid damping.

The counterweight compensates for the weight of the camera, preventing the video head from "dripping". The included long 500PLONG quick-release plate allows for precise balancing. There is a 3/8" thread on the side of the video head, which can be used to attach an external monitor, for example.

Genuine liquid damping cartridges make the MVH500 video head really high quality. The difference between the cheapest and regular video heads is clear. The quick release plate is placed directly on the video head from above, so it is not pushed in from the front or back. Once the quick release plate has clicked into place, it stays there securely. This speeds up the work.
