The Manfrotto 008CSU is a steel version of the Manfrotto 008 studio stand. The steel construction makes the stand considerably sturdier than the 008BU version in terms of both weight and load capacity. The 30kg load capacity makes this Heavy Duty Stand an excellent option for large loads, booms or, for example, a large softbox. When fully extended, the stand can support a weight of 18kg, so even then the load capacity is sufficient for larger light shapers or lights.

One of the legs of the light stand has a so-called leveling leg, meaning that the length of the leg can be changed, making the stand stable even on uneven surfaces or terrain.

The 008 CSU tripod has a standard 5/8" (16mm) studio spigot with a 3/8" male thread at the top. It is also possible to attach almost any sopigot part to the top of the tripod according to your needs, as well as the more robust Cine spigots (28mm)

Wheels are available as an accessory for this tripod (compatible wheels Manfrotto 110, 110G).
