MagMod (MagnetMod) is a magnetic-based light modifier for flashes that originated from a successful Kickstarter campaign. The MagMod mounting system aims to be a durable, fast, and easy-to-use way to attach and change light modifiers to flash units. And that's exactly what it is.

MagBox Pro 24" Octa is a foldable octagonal softbox with magnetic attachment. The softbox's inner surface is silver, so the light is distributed evenly without burnt-out spots in the images. The softbox's diameter when opened is 61cm (24 inches).

The MagBox Pro series softboxes are made of durable rip-stop material. The diffusion fabric is attached with a zipper and has its own storage pocket at the top of the softbox. A separate grid attaches to the light shaper with magnets.

Note: To use MagBox Pro softboxes, you will also need either a MagMod MagRing or Speedring mount.
