Battery-powered and equipped with 2.4 GHz Wireless X radio control, this fully wireless flash has a power output of 400Ws.

Another thing the device is great for is portrait photography in nature. This device is enough to shoot against backlight and get even unreal-looking photos, for example in the forest. Pay attention to a high-quality tripod when shooting outdoors and use a relatively compact model as a softbox, for example an 80cm softbox. Even a slight wind can easily knock the set over otherwise.

A new feature, group LEDs, gives each of the 16 available groups their own color, making it easier to manage complex multi-light setups in real time.

The Godox AD400 Pro II body is made of metal, the light stand is attached directly to the metal part, the tilt adjustment is stepless and the tightening is firm. The flash has a clear LCD display and controls for adjusting power and settings, but all of this can also be conveniently done via the Godox trigger. The battery life and lifespan of the batteries is also long. The battery charging time is a couple of hours, but you can continue using it while charging, meaning the charger also acts as a power source.
