The card gets its 'Armor' name because, unlike most memory cards, it's not made of plastic, but of extremely durable stainless steel. Armor memory cards have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and can withstand drops from heights of up to 5 meters.

The card utilizes UHS-II technology (UHS Speed Class 3 (U3)), which guarantees up to 280MB/s read speed. Write speed 210MB/s. The memory card is also downward compatible with UHS-I devices.

Lexar provides a 10-year warranty on the card and a free Lexar Recovery Tool application that can be used to recover deleted files on the card.
