LensCover protects

The multi-piece protector is made to fit snugly over the Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS lens. No glue or tape is required to attach them, so they are easy to remove from the device if needed. The side of the protector that faces the lens is rubberized, so the protectors don't slide around and stay firmly in place.

Neoprene is water-repellent, but it does not make the lens waterproof. The cover does, however, prevent the device from getting wet better than if you were to shoot without a cover.

The cover has a plastic-coated "window" over the important buttons on the lenses, making the buttons easier to use.
