It offers amazing image quality for its size, especially in good light, and the magnification makes it suitable for observing details.
The first thing you notice about these binoculars is their size. They are 11cm long, 9cm wide and about 3.7cm high when folded into the transport position. So they can fit into a slightly larger jacket pocket.
A small transport position is possible with the help of a clever double joint. As with Leica, the mechanical quality is good, the joint and the aluminum body feel sturdy in the hand despite the size. The aluminum body has a very stable and shock-absorbing rubber coating on top.
Like larger Leica binoculars, the Trinovid 10x25 BCA is not completely waterproof, it can withstand splashes but not immersion, meaning there is no nitrogen gas between the lens surfaces, for example. The outer lens surfaces are coated with a dirt-repellent coating that makes cleaning easier. The eye relief from the eyepiece is a maximum of 14.6mm, meaning the binoculars are also suitable for eyeglass wearers, but not as good as larger models.
Comes with a lanyard and protective bag.
