The Leica Summicron-SL 35mm F2 is a versatile lens for mirrorless L-mount bodies. It is slightly lighter than the reference-level APO-Summicron-Sl lens, so both remain in the range. This is a great companion for the Leica SL2-S body, for example.

The lens does not have the same level of apochromatic correction as its big brother, but otherwise this is a guaranteed Leica, meaning it is made in the manufacturer's own factory. The body is entirely metal. The optical structure consists of 11 elements in 9 groups, three of which are aspherical.

The Leica Summicron-SL 35mm F2 ASPH is weather and dust-protected in construction, and the front lens elements are coated with an easy-to-clean and dirt-repellent AquaDura coating.
