The Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO is the manufacturer's first macro lens designed directly for the APS-C sensor size.

The lens is designed to maintain excellent color, contrast, and sharpness across the entire image area, regardless of shooting mode. The lens features three ED elements to prevent color dispersion, or chromatic aberration, in high-contrast areas.

The lens is fully manual, meaning that both aperture and focal length are adjusted manually. The lens does not send aperture or focal length information to the camera. However, in aperture priority mode, the camera can calculate the appropriate shutter speed based on the exposure meter. This is a good thing to consider when choosing a shooting mode.

Note: also fits full-sensor Sony bodies, but the image must be cropped or used with APS-C crop to prevent vignetting and maintain image quality.
