Laowa 100mm macro lens with double magnification. So it goes where other macros go and even more, with this you get the wow effect in close-ups. Also suitable for full-frame Canon bodies.
The lens is designed to maintain high-quality color, contrast, and sharpness even at the edges of the image. The APO feature minimizes chromatic aberration, which is often a problem in macro photography.

Unlike many Laowa lenses, this Canon version adjusts the aperture from the camera. The EXIF files of the images also store detailed shooting information such as the aperture value used. Focusing is manual, but the camera body's AF check works, so for example the 5D Mark IV will tell you if the camera thinks the focus is correct.
Note: The Canon RF version does not have this feature, so if you want aperture control from the camera, use this EF version with an adapter also on EOS R cameras.
The focus ring is large and has a firm feel, making it suitable for precise work when the depth of field is very shallow.
The lens structure is designed so that when focusing, an open empty space remains at the front of the lens.
