The legs of the Kupo 055 Handy Stand are completely horizontal. You can tape the legs to the floor or use sandbags for extra stability. The Reverse Legs design allows the legs to fold against the center tube for a shorter transport length.

The tripod head has a standard lamp mount (5/8" 16mm Stud) with a 3/8" male thread at the end. The tripod comes with a thread adapter that allows you to convert the 3/8" thread to a 1/4" male thread.
