A very handy sized foldable tripod that can hold a 3kg camera. Often a large tripod is left at home for the simple reason that dragging one around is a hassle. The Gorillapod is also nicely compact, so it is much easier to carry in a backpack or bag. Now at least taking a picture won't be a problem because you haven't had the time to carry a tripod with you.

The Joby Gorillapod 3K Stand is a sturdy and flexible camera stand that can support a DSLR camera and optics (max. 3kg). The camera attaches to the included ball head quick-release plate with a standard 1/4" thread. The ball head can be removed from the Gorillapod stand and used on any tripod or mount with a 1/4" thread.

The Joby Gorillapod differs from a traditional tripod in that you can modify and bend it into different positions and locations thanks to the ball joints. You can bend the tripod around a tree branch, a pole, a fence, the side of a boat or even the roll bar of a racing car. The tripod also stands like a traditional tripod, for example on a table. Thanks to the folding legs, the Gorillapod can be made to stand firmly on uneven surfaces.

The Gorillapod 3K Stand is intended for a system camera with optics, a video camera, and for example any studio equipment that attaches to a 1/4” thread.
