The camera is now capable of recording 8K video at 50fps, the battery lasts up to 140 minutes of 8K30fps recording and the Star-Ridge cooling system prevents the camera from overheating. I-Log support, the new Dolby Vision mode and 10-bit color depth ensure excellent resolution, dynamic range and natural, true-to-life colors. This camera is waterproof to a depth of 20m.

As a familiar feature of the Insta360 X5 camera, the lenses are interchangeable in addition to just lens caps. InstaFrame 2.0 lets you shoot both regular and 360-degree videos simultaneously. The regular video is ready to share right away, and you also get a 360-degree video for later editing. The revamped Auto Edit 2.0 uses artificial intelligence algorithms to automatically identify the best moments and add effects and stylish cuts. Together with the Insta360 app, you can create ready-to-share videos with one tap.

In Single Lens Mode, as the name suggests, the camera uses only one lens. This allows video resolution to be up to 5K and frame rates up to 60 frames per second.

The X6 includes several video modes, such as Timelapse, Bullet Time, TimeShift, Loop and Pre-recording, which means the camera records either a 15-second or 30-second clip before you press the button. To make filming easier, the camera can be controlled with gesture and voice control. Battery life with 8K30fps recording is 140 minutes. The battery can be fully charged in 35 minutes and 80% charging takes only 24 minutes.
