As is well known from the Insta360 X5 camera, the lenses are interchangeable, in addition to just the lens caps. Thanks to the interchangeable lenses, this is suitable for even rougher use and is truly in the action camera category. Like the X5, this camera also has a built-in windscreen for the microphones.

Battery life: 88 minutes of battery life with 8K 30fps video. The battery can be fully charged in 57 minutes and 80% charged in just 36 minutes. This camera is waterproof to a depth of 15m.

With the new InstaFrame mode, you can record both a normal video and a 360-degree video at the same time. The normal video is ready to share right away, and you also get a 360-degree video for later editing.

In Single Lens Mode, the camera uses only one lens, as its name suggests. In this case, the video resolution can be up to 4K and the frame rate can be up to 60 frames per second. In Me Mode, the camera automatically frames the image on the subject and hides the separately purchased Invisible selfie stick from view. The camera records slow-motion footage at up to 4K 120fps.

The Insta360 X4 Air features several smart video modes, including Timelapse, TimeShift, Loop, and Pre-recording, which means the camera records either 15 seconds or 30 seconds of footage before you press the button. To make shooting easier, the camera can be controlled using gestures and voice control.
