Insta360's smallest action camera has been updated with a larger 1/1.28" image sensor that offers higher image quality and is now capable of producing 4K 60fps video. The battery life is significantly longer and the internal memory has been replaced with a microSD memory card slot. The PureVideo low-light shooting mode familiar from other Insta360 cameras is now also available on this camera.

Thanks to its small size, the camera can be carried easily and discreetly wherever you go. The included magnetic counterpart allows you to attach the camera to the front of your shirt, for example. Note! If you have a pacemaker, do not use the magnet on the front!

The Action Pod gives the camera longer battery life and a rotating touchscreen for adjusting settings. The Action Pod is IPX4 waterproof, meaning it can withstand rain and splashes. Without the Action Pod, the camera is waterproof to a depth of 10 meters. The camera battery alone provides 70 minutes of shooting, and with the Action Pod, the battery life increases to up to 200 minutes.

In addition to the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, the camera can shoot 1:1 square images and 9:16 portrait images suitable for social media.

One of the most welcome upgrades to the camera is a memory card slot. Instead of internal memory, the Ultra can accept up to a 2TB microSD memory card (purchased separately). The battery is fixed so it cannot be replaced or removed, but with fast charging, the camera can be charged to 80% in just 12 minutes.
