Hoverair X1 Pro MAX is an 8K video recording drone that fits in your jacket pocket. You can control the device with your phone or even without smart devices, just select the appropriate automatic shooting mode and send the drone flying from the palm of your hand!

Hoverair is best suited for impressive social media videos and filming great tracking videos. The example videos show how well the drone follows a mountain bike in a dense forest, for example. The drone's maximum tracking speed of up to 60 km/h is enough for even a fast trail runner or downhill skier. This drone is like a flying action camera.

If DJI is a somewhat engineering-like instrument, suitable for photography and, for example, surveying, then Hoverair is almost a bumper car-like tool for capturing fun. The comparison is apt in the sense that in the Camera Shop's experiments, we noticed that the dense protection around the propellers and the durable structure encourage filming even in very tight spaces.

The drone has forward obstacle detection, but this only works at very low speeds, meaning collisions will occur - and we will overcome them.

Drone with 8K video

The HoverAir X1 Pro Max is the same device as the X1 Pro but has an 8K resolution camera. The drone's 120FPS slow-motion videos and vertical videos work well for social media and short videos, but the quality is also good enough for B-roll in the middle of materials shot with proper video equipment. The sense of speed draws attention and the viewer is not left pondering individual pixels.

Photos are taken with resolutions of 12 and 48 megapixels, the lens is quite wide, like an action camera, with a field of view of 107 degrees and a focal length equivalent to cine is about 16mm.

Image stabilization is handled by a 2-axis gimbal stabilizer and electrical stabilization.

Controlling the Hoverair X1 Pro Max

Hoverair is a very versatile device in terms of control. You can shoot video directly with just the drone, even without a smartphone, but you can also control the drone with the Hoverair app, also directly from smart devices.

In addition, Hoverair has an optional modular controller, meaning you can get traditional joysticks around your phone and you can also connect a Smart beacon to it, which can transmit video up to a kilometer away. And thanks to the modularity, you can make different combinations of these or even a one-handed version.

The beacon has a screen for monitoring the camera's video, and tracking can also be done more accurately using the beacon, meaning you can put it in a jacket pocket or clip it to a bike handlebar.

In addition, the drone has several automatic flight programs: Orbit, Bird's eye, Zoom Our, Side track and Slo-MO. These allow you to create very impressive videos and flight lines completely automatically.

The Hoverair X1 Pro and Pro MAX also include a completely dedicated shooting mode for skiing, meaning the drone can anticipate a specific movement by the skier and smoothly follow the subject even at high speed.

And as mentioned, what sets this Hoveraid Drone apart from others is its great tracking features, so you can shoot alone shots that would often require another person to fly the drone, and filming is very successful in tight spaces. It is also convenient to set the tracking height and distance in the tracking settings, so you get the video from just the right angle, depending on the sport and terrain.

The Hoverair X1 Pro Max includes rear obstacle detection and this Pro Max version has separate visual detection. The replaceable propellers are protected by a very dense shield that prevents branches and leaves from getting close.

Flight time in good conditions is approximately 16 minutes. The X1 Pro Max includes 64GB of internal memory and is compatible with up to 1TB MicroSDXC memory cards.
