The most powerful flash in the battery-powered Godox Witstro series with 1200Ws of power.
Battery-powered and equipped with 2.4 GHz Wireless X radio control, this fully wireless flash has a power of 1200Ws. Thanks to the Bowens mount, this flash can be used with a wide variety of light modifiers.
The AD1200 Pro is really powerful, so powerful that it is not the first choice for everyone. The Godox AD1200 Pro is suitable for you if you use large light modifiers and shoot large group photos, large objects (such as cars), or when you want to beat the sun shining from the full sky. With the AD1200 flash, you can also simulate sunlight in cloudy weather.
The AD1200 Pro is part of Godox's AD series, but differs from the others in that it has a separate power supply and flash head. The advantage of having two separate parts is that the size of the flash head itself remains small and it is much easier for you to place the light source in the optimal position.
At full power, the charging cycle is 2 seconds, and in stroboscopic mode, the flash is capable of 100 consecutive flashes at 1/16 power. The 40W LED control light makes it easier to build lighting and the flash can also be used for video lighting. With the slave function, you can trigger the Godox AD1200 Pro flash even without separate transmitters, you only need, for example, the camera's own flash or a hand-held flash to help.
A battery-powered flash is convenient to take with you on shoots even when there is no mains power available or you don't want to have cables lying around on the floor. Of course, you can also connect the flash battery to the mains power during your shoot, allowing the flash to run on continuous power.
Firmware updates can be performed directly via the USB-C port.
