The Air 3S is a similar update to the Air 2S's update to the Air 2. The biggest change is the larger 1' sensor size of the main camera, which offers 50Mpix resolution as well as 4K/60fps video recording and 120fps slow motion at 4K resolution. In addition, there is updated obstacle detection, which brings improvements especially in darker lighting conditions, and 42GB of internal memory instead of the previous 8GB.

This set includes an accessory pack , i.e. 2 extra batteries, a filter set, a charging hub, a shoulder bag and 3 extra pairs of spare propellers.

With a whopping 46 minutes of flight time, the DJI Air 3S is another drone outside the DJI Mavic 3 series that has two cameras - here, there is a traditional 24mm wide-angle lens with an f/1.7 aperture and a 70mm lens with an f/2.8 aperture.

Why buy the DJI Air 3S over the DJI Mini 4 Pro? The Mini 4 Pro is a great little drone, but the Air 3S comes with two cameras for more flexibility in your shooting. The Air 3S also offers better battery life, greater range, and more internal storage.

Air 3S or Mavic 3 Pro? If you're looking for one drone that can do many things without having to pay the maximum amount, the Air 3S is your choice. Of course, for the higher price of the Mavic 3 Pro you get a third camera, with a large 4/3-inch image sensor for better image quality for both stills and video.

Two cameras

The DJI Air 3S drone contains two cameras - a wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera.

With the narrow angle of view of a medium telephoto camera, the perspective is close to what the human eye sees, and subjects can be captured more dynamically and vividly.

Battery and battery life

The DJI Air3S comes with a 4241 mAh (62.6Wh) battery that provides up to 46 minutes of flight time in ideal conditions, which is about 40% more than the previous Air2S. Flight time is affected by many factors, and you can only get close to the maximum time in ideal conditions and when you are not recording video, a realistic 35-38 minutes is excellent.
