The Godox Studio Starter Kit is an almost complete studio lighting set ( you only need a camera-specific transmitter ) that will get you started with professional photography.
A two-light setup is a really good starting point. One light acts as a key light and the other light can be used in many different ways, such as as a fill light, a backlight, or even an edge light.
The set is suitable for a home studio, a small photography studio, as well as for companies for their own use if you want to shoot, for example, your company's portraits or product photos.
The package is suitable for example:
The latest version of the SK400II flash. In this V version, the modeling light has been changed to LED, which consumes less power and produces no waste heat.
The mains powered Godox SKII series is Godox's most affordable studio flash series. The price of the SKII series flashes has been kept low thanks to the construction, which is mainly made of plastic, and by omitting the finer details.
Godox SK400II has a power of 400Ws. The flash power is adjustable from 1/1 to 1/16 and there are 40 steps in the adjustment range. In addition, the flash has a 150W modeling light, the power of which can also be adjusted.
The mains-powered Godox SK400 II is a manual flash unit, so there is no TTL. One of the advantages of not having a battery is that you don't have to worry about whether the battery is charged during shooting. Mains-powered lights are suitable for fixed installations in the studio, but of course they are also suitable for live shooting if necessary.
The SK400II has a built-in 2.4G radio, which allows for remote flash control and the use of Godox battery devices in the same flash set. This means you can combine the QTII series with, for example, the battery-powered Godox AD series, or the mains-powered QSII, DPII and SKII for the same shoot.
A light stand suitable for Godox SK400II studio lights. The AIR260 is an aluminum light stand with air suspension, with a load capacity of approximately 5 kilos and a maximum height of approximately 2.6 meters.
Rectangular softbox that comes with two diffusion fabrics and a honeycomb/grid.
By using multiple diffusion fabrics, you can get even softer and more diffused light. The grid, in turn, helps to control and direct the light more precisely. The grid and diffusion fabrics can be removed, which makes the light harder, but spreads it more widely than when shooting with just flash.
This 60x90cm softbox is foldable, so it doesn't require much space for storage and transport. It also comes with a carrying bag to protect it from scratches and dust when not in use.
The SB-FW6090 attaches to a flash or other shooting light using a Bowens mount, making it compatible with most lights.
Godox's white, translucent umbrella provides soft, even general light to the shooting space.
Remember to also purchase a camera-specific Godox transmitter for your camera. We recommend the user-friendly Godox XPro trigger.
