A high-quality mains-powered LED light, a good option if you don't need a battery-powered light. The high-quality light source, i.e. high CRI, can be combined seamlessly with much more expensive lights in the same set.

It also works as a so-called light flash, is triggered by radio and includes HSS flash sync. Due to these features, the Godox FV series is a good option for fixed studio use when combining photo and video shooting.

The Godox FV200 is a continuous light and flash in one package. You can switch between different lighting modes quickly, as you don't have to change the entire equipment, but simply press a button. The color temperature of the Godox FV200 is 5600K, which is equivalent to natural light in both lighting modes.

Excellent color rendering (CRI 96) ensures natural and accurate colors. This is especially important for skin tones. When the tones are correct already when shooting, you save time in post-processing.

For video shooting, the flash has 8 different lighting effects preset, such as storm, TV, and broken lamp.

When using the FV200 as a flash, the flash brightness can be adjusted from 1/1 to 1/8. Between flashes, the FV200 also acts as a modeling light. The flash supports HSS (High Speed Sync) at speeds up to 1/8000, and instead of multiple low-power flashes, the FV200 produces one more powerful and longer flash.

The Godox FV200 does not include a TTL feature, but few people need this in studio use.

The light has a Bowens mount , so the number of softboxes, snoots, and other compatible light modifiers is large and can be found from several different manufacturers.

The FV200 comes with an 18cm reflector hood with a mounting point for a tripod. It also comes with a remote control that allows you to make lighting and other adjustments wirelessly.

This light also has a more affordable sister model, the FV150.
