The Stand Plate adapter is designed to be used with the Iso-Pod, which is included with all 8010 and G One speakers, and with the 4010 and 4410 speakers when using the Iso-Pod.
The Iso-Pod allows you to tilt the monitor to the optimal listening position. Attach the plate to the 3/8" thread of the stand tube and make sure the screw connection is firmly tightened. Place the Iso-Pod on the four pins of the plate.
