The Fuji 8-16mm F/2.8 WR is a professional wide-angle zoom. The high F2.8 aperture and weather and dust-resistant construction ensure images even in difficult conditions.

The lens uses several special lenses: 4 aspherical, three ED and one super ED. The special lenses provide good image quality across the entire image area. The Fuji 8-16mm is also corrected for distortion, meaning there is no fisheye effect even though the focal length is very wide. In such a wide-angle lens, reflection control is an important part, and the Nano GI coating used improves contrast and reduces ghosting and flare.

The smallest possible aperture is F22 and the lens can create great Sun stars effects when shooting against backlight.
