The Deity W01 is designed with a long and dense enough hair section to disperse the force of the wind, but an acoustic layer underneath allows the desired sound to pass through undistorted. This allows you to record professional sound directly on location, significantly reducing the need for laborious post-processing or overdubbing.

The W01 is lightweight and easy to carry in your camera bag. It's easy to slip it over the microphone in place of the foam protector as soon as you move from indoors to outdoors or when the wind starts to pick up.
