The Deity Dual-Head WLP is a unique and extremely versatile microphone solution that branches from a single 3.5mm jack to two separate high-quality W.Lav Pro lavalier microphones at the end of a long Y-cable. This ingenious design opens up completely new possibilities for mobile podcasters, interviewers, and photographers recording nature and spatial sounds. You can capture two different sound sources or a wide soundscape with a single microphone connection and recorder.

One connector, two microphones: The Dual-Head WLP eliminates the need for two separate wireless systems or multi-channel recorders for two-person interviews. You can connect the cable directly to a single wireless bodypack transmitter (like the Deity Theos DBTX) or the microphone input of a compact stereo recorder (like the Deity PR-2) and record both speakers simultaneously.

• IP57-rated weather resistance: Both 4mm microphone heads are completely waterproof and dustproof. They are highly resistant to sweat, rain and makeup, and can be rinsed clean with water.

One microphone – three different uses

The Deity Dual-Head WLP offers flexibility that traditional lavalier microphones cannot:

1. Two-person interviews and podcasts: You can run the Y-cable branches to two different people and record both of their speeches neatly on one medium.
2. A/B stereo recording and spatial awareness: By mounting microphones on either side of a performer or subject, you can capture a rich stereo image for ambient recordings or videos.
3. Creative binaural recording: You can attach the microphone heads to the temples of glasses, for example, above your ears, and record an incredibly realistic spatial impression that is similar to the human sense of hearing (mock binaural setup).

The microphones' ultra-small 4mm size makes them easy to conceal on clothing or stage sets. The capsules are compatible with the most popular concealment accessories on the market (such as URSA Straps, Bubblebee Industries, and Hide-A-Mic).

Please note when using: Since both microphones connect to the same 3.5mm stereo jack, the device records the microphones' audio on a stereo track (one microphone on the left and one on the right channel). If you are using it to interview two people with one wireless transmitter, please make sure that your transmitter and receiver support stereo signal transmission so that the voices of both speakers remain separate tracks all the way to the editing table.
