The Buteo Floating Hide is a product developed by nature photographers for nature photographers. Experience an extraordinary, amazing way to photograph nature!
Birds and mammals are very shy. With a floating hide you can explore ponds, lakes and other inland water areas (we do not recommend going to the sea) in a unique way, and take pictures like never before. With a floating platform you can get the camera really close to the water surface, so the angle of view is different than when shooting from a birdwatching tower or from the beach.
The camouflage pattern of the tent itself is 'reed', so you blend in perfectly with the surrounding landscape. If necessary, you can camouflage the tent with branches, reeds, twigs, etc. This is done perfectly with the help of the ropes and 20 loops outside the tent.
The Grebe is designed for shallow and hard-bottomed water areas, as you are in the tent with your feet touching the bottom. Moving the tent in the water is done by moving it yourself.
The floating hide consists of an air chamber, a tent frame and fabric. Inside the hide there are two sturdy shelves for a camera and a tripod head (a rocker is recommended), as well as two storage pockets for accessories. Several observation holes with insect netting facing in all directions allow you to clearly see the surrounding events. The camera holes on the front and back allow you to take pictures.
The advantage of a portable photo booth is that you can easily carry it with you and take it anywhere, anytime. Take the booth to a nearby pond or lake, or drive it further afield.
The Piilojokku fabric (Polyester 150D) has a water column value of 2500mm, meaning it can withstand rain but not heavy rain. The windows/camera openings are not waterproof, so rainwater can penetrate through them.
