Blackmagic Pyxis 6K (Canon EF) Cinema Camera

The Blackmagic Pyxis 6K is a so-called box style video camera. The camera has a full-frame sensor, Canon EF lens mount, good controls and connections. You can then build just the right package depending on the situation.

The mount allows for the use of a wide range of Canon EF lenses, and with an adapter, you can also use vintage lenses (as well as ARRI PL, for example). There are also versions of the camera for direct PL and L-Mount lenses.

The full-frame sensor enables very versatile aspect ratios and anamorphic video formats. The sensor also has an optical lowpass filter, meaning textiles or buildings do not cause the moire phenomenon. The sensor is promised a dynamic range of 13 aperture values. 6K 2.4:1 shooting is possible at 60P speed and FullHD limited version at 120P speed. In addition to Blackmagic RAW files, FullHD proxy files can be recorded at the same time.
