Accsoon SeeMo Pro is an adapter that allows you to connect your iPad or iPhone to an external monitor for a professional camera via an SDI or HDMI connection. It converts the video signal sent by the camera into a format that can be understood by an iOS device, allowing the phone or tablet screen to be used as a production monitor using the Accsoon SEE app.

The device acts as a bridge between the camera's standard connections and the mobile device. The use of the SDI connection allows for locking BNC connectors and significantly longer cable runs without signal degradation compared to HDMI cables. The SDI loop out connection on the device allows for the original video signal to be distributed without delay to, for example, the director's monitor or a separate recorder while the image is being monitored on an iOS device.

SDI cables are often stiffer and heavier than HDMI or USB cables. Although the SeeMo Pro adapter is physically light (100g), the cables connected to it can create significant mechanical stress on the connectors and the device attachment point. The adapter must be securely mounted in the camera cage and the cables must be properly strain relieved to minimize leverage on the connectors and prevent physical damage.
