The 3 Legged Thing Patti v2.0 is a tripod with a ball head that is great for mirrorless cameras. Despite its price, the tripod is made with the same finish and high-quality materials as other products from British manufacturer 3 Legged Thing. For the first time, instead of a screw-on leg, the legs are opened with quick-release clips. The quick-release clips are made of durable ABS plastic, and the ball head and legs are made of aluminum.

At its highest, the tripod rises to a height of 163cm , and when transported, the tripod fits into a space of 45cm . However, the carrying capacity of the camera tripod and ball head is a whopping 10kg , meaning that it can hold even heavier equipment in place if necessary. The camera tripod also has other features of advanced models, the center tube of the tripod is removable , allowing the camera to be placed very close to the ground (height only 11cm) or the center tube can be attached to the tripod the wrong way around, meaning that even special viewing angles can be achieved with this tripod. The legs are adjustable to 23, 55 and 80 degree angles.

The tripod comes with the new Airhed Mini ball head. Clamping the camera in the correct position and locking the rotation is done with a single switch. The ball head and the included quick release plate are Arca-Swiss compatible, which means you can use Peak Design quick release plates with this head, for example, or replace the quick release plates with the sturdy 3 Legged Thing L-rail.
