Zeiss T* Circular Polarizing Filter

A circular polarizing filter reduces reflections from water, glass, and non-metallic surfaces. The filter significantly enriches the color saturation of an image, e.g. by removing haze in landscape photography and deepening the green of leaves. Using a polarizing filter reduces the amount of light reaching the lens by about two stops.

T* anti-reflective coating helps reduce reflections and produces high-quality images. The filter ring is designed to be 5mm thin, so it can also be used with wide-angle lenses without darkening the edges. Also works with a lens hood.

A polarizing filter also provides additional protection for lenses against water splashes, dust, and scratches.
