Adding light, highlight and fill light to a subject is common and most familiar in photography. However, controlling light also includes the ability to control shadows, i.e. how the shadows look and how strong they are in relation to the rest of the light. This is where negative fill (negative fill / nega) comes into play.

Negative fill is the opposite of reflection. Because a negative fill prevents light from entering or reflecting back into the image, a negative fill can be used whenever you want to add contrast. You can use a negative fill to darken the background, darken the shadows of a subject, or even highlight the edges of a product against the background.

The 2.4 x 1.2 meter Hurleypro ProBoard also works as a photography backdrop when needed, whether for portraits, product photos, or even when videotaping interviews.

The ProBoard rolls up for storage and transport. Comes with a carrying bag.
