An affordable alternative to Sony's 50mm f/1.4 G Master lens! It weighs almost 300g more, but the price is much more pleasant.

The 50mm focal length and large f/1.4 aperture make this lens excellent for portraits and nature photography. The large aperture allows for shooting in low light and a narrow depth of field to emphasize the subject.

The lens has a fast and precise STM focusing motor, which can focus at a minimum distance of 45cm. Autofocus supports various subject detection technologies, for example eye, face, animal detection. The lens can also be used with manual focus. The AF/MF switch allows for quick switching between autofocus and manual focus.

In addition, the lens has one programmable button and a "Click Switch", meaning you can choose to have the aperture ring with or without clicks.

Viltrox's Pro series, i.e. weather protection and mechanical quality, has been tuned to a better level than other lenses from the manufacturer. The lens elements are coated with HD Nano multi-layer coating, which reduces reflections and protects the structure from moisture. The lens is protected from splashes of water and dust.
