This lens is only slightly larger than the Sony rear cap! A true pancake lens with autofocus.

1.5cm thick and weighs only 60g! Autofocus, works with full-frame cameras, F4.5 aperture, metal bayonet, USB-C for software updates. This pancake lens is in a completely different class from toy versions or manual focus products.

How was this amazing size achieved? Manual focus is not possible through the lens, there is no filter thread included (the protective cap is built in and can be switched on and off from the lens!). The aperture is fixed at F4.5, so in very bright conditions it helps if the camera has a fast shutter speed or an electronic shutter.

The image quality and autofocus, for example in video shooting, are of course not the same as with larger lenses. But when you consider the price and size, the combination is attractive. This goes so well with the feeling when you want the smallest possible shooting equipment and one use is to always keep the lens in the camera instead of a body cap. For example, on nature trips you can always record fast situations with a wide angle, even if the so-called real lenses are still separately in the backpack.

The lens elements are coated with HD Nano Multi-Layer Coating to reduce reflections. The bayonet is made of metal and the lens also has a USB-C connector for software updates.
