Urth 100x150 Hard Graduated Filter Plus ND8 disc filter

10x15cm strong sliding gray filter / half gray filter with ND8 strength, usable with a plate filter holder or, for example, a matte box lens hood.

This plate filter has a 3-stop darkening on one side of the plate. The darkening fades in a sliding manner and the other side of the plate is clear glass without darkening. This is useful for landscape photography, where you can darken the area above or below the horizon. This way you get balanced exposure across the entire image. Since the horizon is not always in the middle of the image, you can move the plate filter to place the darkening in the right place in the image.
