SmallRig 6542 is a USB-C interface NP-FW50 Dummy Battery for Sony cameras. It allows the camera to be continuously powered from, for example, a USB-C PD charger, a power bank, or the USB-C port of a V-mount battery, thus avoiding battery changes during long-term shooting.

The device supports 9.0V/12.0V PD power supply and provides a maximum output voltage of 8.4V with 2.0A continuous current. The dummy battery, which matches the dimensions of the original battery, fits into the camera without interfering with the closing of the battery compartment door. The coiled cable extends to a length of 80-100cm.
