SmallRig 6293 Multifunctional Portable SSD (2TB) combines an external storage drive, memory card reader, and charging hub into one compact device. It magnetically attaches to the back of your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, expanding your device's storage and connectivity in the field.

In addition to being a storage device, the device also functions as a versatile hub. The built-in dual card reader supports the fast SD 4.0 standard and allows you to read SD and Micro SD cards simultaneously. The device's USB-C port supports 100W PD input and 90W output, allowing you to efficiently charge a connected phone or computer with the same cable you use for data transfer.

Data management and KOCARD application

Together with the KOCARD mobile application, the device enhances material management. The application enables automatic backup of files from a smartphone directly to an SSD, NAS network drive or cloud service, and the security of transfers and file integrity are automatically ensured during copying.

For video productions, the app can create lightweight proxy files from the original video footage on the fly. This speeds up the transfer of material to the network and sharing for remote editing. The app also includes AI-based tools that help with going through large amounts of footage and basic retouching.
