SmallRig 5926 is a very compact and lightweight wooden side handle that adds rigidity and better ergonomics to cages for SLR cameras, action cameras, and monitors. It makes even a small camera rig easy to handle and significantly stabilizes the grip when shooting handheld.

The handle attaches to the cage with a standard 1/4-inch alignment screw. Built-in alignment pins ensure a completely twist-free and play-free attachment, so the handle stays firmly in place even when shooting with heavier equipment. Since the handle supports both horizontal and vertical shooting, it adapts perfectly to both traditional video production and vertical videos for social media. The symmetrical design allows you to use it on either side of the rig or easily switch grips for low and high angles.

The real wood surface is a handle material in a class of its own: it feels pleasantly warm in the hand in the winter cold and does not become slippery from sweat in the summer heat like metal. Although this mini handle weighs less than 100 grams, the solid aluminum frame inside makes it very strong – it can safely carry a load of up to 15 kilograms, so you can rely on it even in demanding shooting situations.
