The Smallrig 5196 SSD hard drive holder allows you to attach SSDs 40-60mm wide and 8-17mm thick to the camera frame.

The mounting system is more sturdy, with two parts, meaning instead of a spring-loaded clamp, you can adjust the size and the mounting separately. There is also a cable strain relief, so the cable stays firmly attached to the disk. The contact surfaces are coated with a silicone mat, so the hard drives will not slip or get scratched.

This holder can be attached to a camera or frame with a 1/4" screw, cold shoe, or MagSafe, so it is also suitable for shooting with an iPhone.

Mounting options:

• Cold shoe mount: Install the foot and attach to the cold shoe mount on the top of the cage
• 1/4"-20 screws: Use two 1/4"-20 screws to secure the bracket to the side of the cage
• MagSafe: Attach the holder directly to the back of iPhone 12 - 16 models via MagSafe
