The Sigma 50-120mm F2.8 DC OS Contemporary offers exceptional light power in a compact size. Suitable for Sony E-mount compatible cameras. Less than 10cm long and weighing only 410g.

Now there's an interesting new feature for APS-C sensor size cameras! The focal length corresponds to the focal length of full-frame cameras, 80-192mm, so here's a real unicorn: a small, bright and affordable telephoto zoom for its features.
The size and weight are exceptional, the length is less than 10cm and the weight is 410g, so this can easily be compared to a regular 330ml drink can and the lens is actually about a centimeter shorter! But with the can test you can try how well this fits in a camera bag or, for example, a jacket pocket on a photo trip.
Sigma's 50-120mm is a very unique lens, such a fast telephoto lens has never been available for mirrorless systems before. Fast alternatives have been 70-200mm F2.8 style full frame versions with a larger size and price tag, and the 55-250mm and 75-300mm versions have clearly lower speed and image quality.
According to initial tests, the image quality is good, especially in the center, but the previously mentioned more robust lenses have their place if you want the sharpest possible image even at the very edges of the image. On the other hand, in portraits and if the subject is not right at the edge, the image is very good, both in terms of sharpness and bokeh, meaning that the out-of-focus areas are beautifully soft.
The Sigma 50-120mm F2.8 also focuses quite close, it's not macro but the details can be picked up very well.
