A replacement for kit zooms! Very good image quality in a compact size.

The Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 is a fast zoom lens for Sony APS-C sensor bodies like the Sony A6600. Sigma previously had a popular 18-50mm lens for mirrorless bodies, but this is a completely new lens designed exclusively for mirrorless cameras.

• Very compact: 6.5 x 7.4cm and weighs only 290g
• A fast zoom for all your photography and video needs
• Great as a single lens
• Made in Japan

The 18-50mm is a very versatile focal length, it can handle both landscape and portrait photography. In addition, thanks to the aperture, depth of field is well controlled and shooting in low light is not a problem. If you only want to carry one lens with you, this is a great option!

Thanks to the smaller sensor size, the Sigma 18-50 is very compact and weighs only 290g, which is about the same as a regular kit zoom.
