The Portkeys HS8 is a high-quality 8-inch production monitor designed for demanding professional use, film crews, directors and tracking specialists. It provides an excellent tool for the set, built to withstand the most challenging production conditions. The monitor features a robust all-aluminum chassis and a removable and replaceable protective glass mounted on the front of the screen. Despite being a sturdy and large monitor, it weighs only 675 grams, making it easy to share with your crew or clients.

One of the most unique innovations of the HS8 model is its rotatable NP-F battery slot with power outlet (8V/10W) located on the back. This patented design allows you to attach and power the wireless video receiver directly to the back of the monitor without any additional cables. The connector can be freely rotated 360 degrees using the yellow adjustment screw in the middle, allowing for a very neat and compact configuration.

• Large and clear daylight display: The 8-inch 10-bit (8+2 FRC) panel with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 1000:1 contrast ratio ensures accurate and detailed preview. With 1,100 nits of brightness, the image is easy to observe even in bright outdoor conditions.
• Factory-calibrated colors: Each monitor is individually factory-calibrated, ensuring reliable and accurate color reproduction without color banding right out of the box.
• SDI/HDMI connections with cross conversion: Equipped with HDMI input (supports up to 4K DCI 60p signal) and 3G-SDI input. HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs support signal cross conversion in both directions (HDMI to SDI & SDI to HDMI).
• 3D LUT support and output: You can load custom LUT files via the USB-A port. The LUT-corrected video signal can also be passed through both SDI and HDMI outputs to maintain video chain integrity.
• Dual battery trays with hot-swap function: Dual Sony NP-F battery slots on the rear allow you to hot-swap batteries without turning off the monitor. Up to 5 hours of operation time (max. power consumption 20W) can be achieved with two NP-F970 batteries.
• Versatile mounting options: All four sides of the monitor have 1/4"-20 threads with locating pins for attaching handles or accessories. There are also VESA 100 x 100 mounting points on the back, which allow the monitor to be mounted on a light stand or C-stand, for example.
• Professional Preview Tools: The customizable operating system offers comprehensive analysis tools such as RGB and Luma Waveform, histogram, zebra, Peaking focus assist, audio level meters, and False Color (including ARRI False Color).
