The PolarPro Spectra Split 50 is a half-diopter effect filter that allows you to create two different focus areas in one frame. One side of the filter focuses on a nearby subject, while the other side keeps the background or more distant elements sharp. This adds depth, layering, and visual tension to your storytelling right in-camera, without the need for post-processing.

The rotating frame allows you to precisely control the direction and framing of the focus line according to the shooting situation. The filter is made of high-quality PolarPro Cinema Series® optical glass, which repels scratches and reflections. The body is made of durable, matte-anodized aluminum.

Size, filter threads and Helix compatibility

The PolarPro Spectra Split 50 is available in several sizes for traditional filter threads (49mm, 67mm, 77mm and 82mm) and the PolarPro Helix MagLock magnetic system. Choose the size that suits your shooting equipment based on your lens' filter thread or mounting method. (The Helix version requires the Helix Base Plate, sold separately).
