PolarPro Goldstache – diffusion and polarization filter

PolarPro Goldstache is a special filter developed in collaboration with popular photographer and filmmaker Garrett King (Shortstache) for photography and video production. The filter combines two popular effects in one frame: a 1/4-stop Gold Mist diffusion and a high-quality Chroma circular polarizing filter (CPL). This combination softens highlights with a warm glow and smooths skin tones, while the circular polarizing filter removes reflections and deepens color saturation.

The filter uses PolarPron Cinema Series optical glass with a multi-layer coating, ensuring image sharpness and clean shadow areas. The durable, threaded aluminum body is ideal for hybrid photo and video workflows, both in natural light and in challenging shooting conditions.

Size and filter threads

The Goldstache is available in several sizes for traditional filter threads (43 mm – 95 mm) as well as a version compatible with the PolarPro Helix MagLock magnetic system. Choose the right option based on your lens' filter thread or mounting system.
