The PolarPro 135 Series Chroma CPL is a circular polarizing filter developed with Peter McKinnon that pays homage to the golden age of 1970s analog photography and combines it with modern, cutting-edge optical performance. The filter removes reflections from water, glass, and the atmosphere, deepens colors, and adds contrast to the image while maintaining a neutral color tone.

The filter uses German Chroma-optic glass , which has a high resolution that is easily sufficient for 8K sensors. The exceptionally high light transmission of 45% makes it significantly brighter than traditional polarizing filters. It comes with a storage case made of anodized 6061 aluminum, imitating a film roll , with a handy Sunny 16 rule table engraved on the lid for exposure adjustment.

Size and filter threads

The PolarPro 135 Series Chroma CPL filter is available in several sizes for traditional filter threads (e.g. 46 mm – 95 mm). Choose the size that suits your shooting equipment based on the filter thread on your lens. The filter also has front threads for other filters or accessories.
